Commercial Scrap Metal Recycling for North Alabama Businesses

If your shop, plant, farm, or job site makes metal, we will put a container on it and keep it moving. Roll-offs, scheduled pickup, demolition cleanup, machinery towing, and mill-direct brokerage since 1974.

What We Do for Businesses

Three yards, our own trucks, and enough containers to keep a job site clear.

Roll-Off Containers

10, 20, 30, and 40 yard boxes. We drop it, you fill it, we swap it. Heavy steel tops out on weight before volume, so we will help you pick a size that actually works.

Scheduled Industrial Pickup

Weekly, monthly, or on call. Tractor trailers, flatbeds, open-top trailers, and box vans for loads that will not fit a container. Boxes, pallets, and small bins for lower volumes.

Utility & Telecom Scrap

Copper wire and cable, aluminum conductor, transformers, meters, and steel. We handle the volume and the documentation these accounts require.

Demolition Scrap Removal

Structural steel, iron, heavy cable, and machinery cleared straight off the site. We have run demolition jobs around the country and can provide references.

Machinery & Vehicle Towing

Forklifts, tractors, presses, and vehicles that will not roll. Tell us what it is, where it sits, and what fluids are still in it. No charge to talk it through.

Mill-Direct Brokerage

For larger recurring volumes, we broker material straight to mills and foundries, domestic and international. We export to China, Japan, and India.

Who We Work With

Industries We Serve

Fifty years in North Alabama means we have hauled scrap out of just about every kind of operation there is. Some of these accounts have been with us for decades.

  • General & demolition contractors
  • Machine shops and fabricators
  • Manufacturers and plants
  • Utilities and telecom
  • Municipalities
  • Farms and agricultural operations
  • Plumbing and electrical contractors
  • HVAC and roofing companies
  • Auto shops and dealerships
  • Property managers and cleanout crews

Do not see your operation on the list? Call anyway. If it makes metal, we can probably set something up.

Setting Up an Account

No paperwork mountain. Usually one phone call and a site visit.

1

Tell Us What You Make

What metal, roughly how much, and how fast it piles up. Honest estimates are fine, nobody expects a tonnage report.

2

We Size the Container

We will tell you what box fits and how often it needs swapping. Bigger is not always better with heavy steel.

3

We Drop and Swap

Container goes on site. Call when it is full, or we run a set schedule. Either way you stop thinking about it.

4

You Get Paid

Weighed on a certified scale. You get paid for your material, and you see exactly what it weighed.

Request Commercial Service

Tell us about the job and we will call you back to talk through containers, scheduling, and what we can pay.

We will call you back to talk through container sizes, scheduling, and pricing. No obligation.

Commercial Account Questions

What size roll-off containers do you have?
We run 10, 20, 30, and 40 yard roll-off containers. Which one fits depends on your material and how fast you fill it. Heavy steel fills a container by weight long before it fills it by volume, so a smaller box often makes more sense than people expect. Call and describe the job and we will tell you what we would send.
Do you buy utility scrap?
Yes. Copper wire and cable, aluminum conductor, transformers, meters, and steel from utility and telecom work. We handle both the volume and the documentation these accounts require. Call the yard nearest your operation and ask for a commercial account.
How much scrap do I need to generate for pickup?
There is no hard minimum. What matters is whether a truck run makes sense for both of us. A shop filling a 20 yard box every six weeks works. So does a plant filling a 40 yard box weekly. If you are not sure whether your volume justifies a container, call and we will talk it through honestly.
Do you offer demolition scrap removal?
Yes. We clear structural steel, iron, heavy cable, and machinery from demolition sites and job sites, and we have done demolition work around the country. Call before the first piece comes down so we can plan containers, staging, and hauling around your schedule.
Can you tow machinery and equipment?
We tow vehicles, forklifts, tractors, and heavy machinery that will not roll or start. Tell us what it is, where it sits, what shape it is in, and what fluids are still in it. There is no charge to discuss it.
What is mill-direct brokerage?
For larger recurring volumes, we can broker your material straight to mills and foundries rather than processing it through our yards. That can mean better returns for high-volume generators. We also export to buyers in China, Japan, and India. Ask us about the details for your material and volume.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Contractors, machine shops, manufacturers, fabricators, demolition crews, utilities, municipalities, farms, plumbing and electrical contractors, HVAC companies, and auto shops. If your operation generates metal, we can probably set something up.
How does billing work on a commercial account?
You get paid for the material, not the other way around. Container placement, swaps, and hauling factor into what we can pay, and we will lay that out plainly before anything gets delivered. Call and we will walk through the numbers for your situation.
How far do you travel for pickup?
Our three yards cover North Alabama, and we run containers and trucks throughout the region. For demolition and larger industrial jobs we travel further. Call the yard closest to your site and ask.
